Avant Technologies has announced plans to partner with Ainnova Tech on a fundus camera integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) software that the company says can make early disease detection more accessible and precise.

The retinal camera is designed to capture high-quality images automatically, and will work seamlessly with Ainnova's Vision AI software, which can identify early markers of diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. The Vision AI platform can also integrate other health data to detect systemic conditions like cardiovascular risk, kidney disease, and diabetes, Avant said in a press release.

This joint venture will be managed by Ai-nova Acquisition Corp (AAC), which plans to offer the product as a pay-per-use subscription package targeted at clinics, pharmacies, insurance providers, and occupational health services.
